We welcomed our first born, Alana Marie Watson, into the world on May 22, 2014. She was born at 24 weeks due to complications of pre-eclampsia, weighing 15oz and 11in long. Due to complications of her premature birth, Alana lived for 36 hours, passing away on May 23, 2014. Although she is not physically here with us her legacy lives on!
Since the passing of our beautiful angel Alana, we have been blessed with three rainbow babies!
"A rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravage of the storm. When a rainbow appears it doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds."

The Alana Marie Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on encouraging, empowering, and supporting families who have experienced the loss of a baby from miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.
